Bisli make really thick and crunchy hula hoops. The grease levels are low, as are salt. Onion is very strong and there's a good amount of herbs in it. Little dull as a flavour, but not offensive. 5/10

Ridged sour cream & onion crisps. Slightly greasy, lightly salted, very creamy but extremely oniony. The onion has a nice tang, the crisp is a little thin but has a reasonable crunch. They'll do.. 6/10  Found in Slovenia.
Nice crunchy, deep ridged potato crisps. The flavour is 'young cheese' which I've tried in restaurants here, it's very similar to feta- but a little softer. The flavour that comes across though is pretty smokey. Which I would say is wrong by my samples of young cheese. Oil levels are good, they're not overly salty and would be welcome dippers. Very cheesy though, you'd feel a little sick after eating the whole pack. 5/10  Found in Italy. 4 pepper flavour, you'd think would be pretty peppery - these crisps have a lot to live up to since we have so many great pepper flavours in the uk, but they just don't cut the mustard. The crisp is really thin, greasy, and a bit soft. Flavour, strangely enough, could be more peppery. It's too subtle. There's a reason you buy a peppery crisp, you really want that fiery hit. But the fire in these crisps is more dying tea light than roaring fire. 3.5/10 |
