 Still not a great fan of bubble chips, initial crunch is great, but then the interior melts into a soggy squelchy anti-climax. No one likes a soggy squelchy anti-climax. Cheese flavour is a little sickly, but the sweet relish is nice, a sweet onion tang that puts it up a few marks. 5/10

 Well these new crisps from Fogg are certainly full of flavour!! Really intense spices and herbs with a nice warming chilli aftertaste. Really like the crackers themselves, like a nice fresh prawn cracker should be, hate it when they're stale. Great crunch but they feel light. It's the flavour that shines here, look at the list of ingredients... Coriander, onion, ginger, lemon, lemongrass, red peppers, garlic, leek, red chilli pepper amongst many spices. Moresome and Awesome. 9/10  Another dry pack of crisps from Mackie's.
I've moaned about the dryness of Mackie's before, and some of their flavours have been amazing but unfortunately these are another edition of chipboard crisps. Saved only slightly by the mature cheddar flavouring - which is actually pretty tasty. In fact the flavouring isn't too bad at all. Just a shame the crisp is like it is. 3/10 |
