Next up in the Pizza Hut collab- pepperoni feast.

This is a bit more like it on the flavour intensity. A pepperoni flavour should always have a little bit of chilli for the tang of pepperoni which is quite prevalent here. It has a milky - creamy cheese base as would be expected from a pizza crisp, although the tomato base could be more to drive home the pizza flavour, in general - pretty good.

Another in the Walkers' TASTE ICONS range - and 1 of 2 Pizza Express flavours (the only restaurant to have 2) although we've really struggled to get hold of the Margherita version of this).

The American hot is a great pizza - Spicy pepperoni with hot jalapeno peppers, a classic in most pizzerias. But how does that translate to crisps?

Well it certainly doesn't have an immediate hotness, it starts with a tomatoey base, a pickled tang, turning into a smokey cheese and then eventually you start to feel the hotter side of the jalapeno. I can't seem to taste anything slightly like pepperoni in there.

I have to say it makes for a very strange flavour. Having the tang of jalapeno way before the hit of it is an interesting effect.

Real Crisps - Pepperoni

mmmm! I'm so impressed!

Real crisps have always done pretty well in my books, but i'm really loving their new flavour - Pepperoni.

First off it's a good crisp, good amount of crunch from a non oily potato but with a flavouring that isn't too dry.

The Pepperoni flavouring is perfect, you could easily crunching down on a really thin overdone pepperoni off an american pizza. Which is amazing considering these are vegatarian crisps! A lot goes into the ingredients to make them what they are: Tomato, Paprika, Onion, Garlic, Parsley, Carrot, Oregano, Thyme, Fennel (you can't taste it don't worry), Cayenne, Liquorice, black pepper (lots of that).

Crisp of the month, 9/10
