Next up in the Sensations range - Japanese Sweet Wasabi & Ginger.
I can't say i've ever tasted a sweet wasabi, but then again a packet of crisps that are rammed full of wasabi would be pretty darn extreme!
This is a pretty exotic flavour for this new range but actually a pleasant surprise. It's not spicy at all.
You can definitely get a tinge of the wasabi flavouring but it's very minimal and the soy, onion and ginger are more apparent. All round it's a pretty subtle flavour but definitely a lot more moreish than I had thought they would be.. If you're looking for a horseradish style chilli hit then these are not for you, but for a sophisticated tang with an onion hit - yum!
