I remember back when Burts first brought out their Guinness crisps, the review was a little mixed to say the least! see HERE.
Here they've done something I didn't expect - bring out another Guinness crisp with another flavour on top!
And I have to say, as much as I was against the Guinness crisp before - it adds a good base to this crisp, a deep smokey flavour that sits really well with the chilli. Beef flavouring comes in the form of onion, paprika, spices and tomato. There's a bit of sweetness through the tomato that brings another level to the flavour. Chilli is nice and deep but not overpowering or painful.
I'm impressed! Will there be more?
