I've roped in a Guinness lover (Dom) for this review, as I feel that a review will differ depending on your love or hate for Guinness.

Guinness lover:

These crisps are not 'Extra Smooth' - they're delightfully crispy. The distinct burnt flavour is more typical of Guiness Extra Stout than it's widgeted counterpart. I look forward to enjoying these formidable savoury snacks over the cold months ahead in their natural habitat of olde english pubs. Their stylishly veiled black visage draped over an english oak table. Full on flavour, for the Guinness lover 8/10.

Guinness hater:

I'm having moments of confused liking and moments of extreme disgust here. A few over seasoned crisps taste to me like i've stuck my tongue up a chimney, but the rest are not too bad.. i'm pretty surprised, as a Guinness hater to be munching my way through this pack.
I think they're a bit like Marmite, you either love them or you hate them... the thing is I can't decide which one is me. I hate marmite and I love twiglets like I love air. At some points I hate this flavour and at other points it gives you something similar to a dulled down twiglet. For me it's 3/10.

Chip review! Our friend's from over the pond..

You know Marmite spread? It's pretty sickly stuff... but some people love it. Walkers did a marmite flavour which was pretty alright, then marmite decided to do their own crisps which are pretty terrible. But the original marmite flavoured crisps are twiglets.

We have big tubs of them to devour every christmas, really crunchy, tangy crisps that look like sticks. Thoroughly recommend them. Maybe I should send some over in return for something insanely american??

Ooohhhh, intriguing :) We actually didn't know what Marmite spread was so we looked it up.... Sounds interesting. Twiglets huh (again, we looked up)? They sound delicious!!! I think we may just take you up on this venture. We just need to figure out what chips could be considered "insanely American"!!!

Are there any that you have had your eyes on? Let us think on this and get back to you!!

PS - Mackies of Scotland just sent us a variety of crisps....have you ever tried MOS? One of the flavors is haggis??

Definitely get on those twiglets!

Well... I've noticed that pringles do some pretty insane flavours over there... (just on ebay I can see cheeseburger, cinnamon & sugar, white chocolate peppermint, pumpkin pie spice)

and there's hell load of doritos flavours that we don't get over here..

Mackies sent me their range too, a few months ago - unfortunately I haven't got round to reviewing them (I've got a bit of a waiting list!)
Haggis does look pretty interesting.. also there's a pack that has a dip inside the pack!?!

Which flavor Doritos can't you get?

If we are really going to do this, then we might as well get as many bags in the boxes as we can! :) Let's make it worth it!

We will start piecing together the Pringles...some of those flavors may have came and gone with the wind already....can't keep track of them.

Any other crisps you would suggest. We see from your crisp page that there are some lamb flavored....duck....any crazy Doritos? Jalapeno Fire? The Darling Chip brand's bags are classy. Too many.....crisps......maybe some of your favorites. We could throw in some of the best ones we can get my hands on.
